Vacuum only after the worst of the construction dust has been removed by the air filter or washing. Vacuum your furniture (even if it has been protected by dust-proof material) as well as carpets, floors, furniture, cushions, mattresses – everything in the room in fact.
Washing blinds, curtains and carpets
Construction dust has a way of creeping into every possible corner. Washing blinds, curtains and carpets are an absolute must. It may sound like a lot of effort, but it really is a guaranteed way to rid your newly renovated home of the last of the construction mess.
