House cleaning strategy
- Tackle the kitchen and bathroom first. Why? Because these rooms are more often than not where you’ll find the majority of germs in the home.
- The downstairs level is next. This is because is when people enter your home they’re hardly likely to go straight for your bedroom. They’ll hang around the sitting room and kitchen and more than likely enter through the hallway. They may also use the downstairs powder room.
- Use sprays that smell nice and are eco-friendly. That means no harsh chemicals, there’s no excuse for using synthetic smelling sprays these days as there’s so many pleasant ones on the market.
- Always have enough new cloths for every home. Not to have suitable clothes for particular surfaces just doesn’t make sense. You’ll never find us running out and using paper towels as a replacement. Paper can be easily pierced resulting in scratched surfaces.
- Use plenty of elbow grease. Sometimes the only way certain surfaces such as floors and tiles can get super-clean and shiny is to rub hard and fast. It’s worth it to see the end result and anyway – it’s good exercise!
- Enjoy our time cleaning your home. Our team gets satisfaction from a good result – just as you yourself will be delighted to come back to a gleaming home. We may do a bit of singing at the same time (hopefully in tune if you’re around at the time) – but that’s because we enjoy and take pride in our work.
