Travelers like cleanliness, and then softness when they judge towel quality. The standard of towels in a hotel has an impact on guest satisfaction, brand perception and customer loyalty according to Xeros.
Overall customer satisfaction is affected by the quality of towels – and incredibly, 73 percent of people surveyed said the quality of towels would influence their decision to go back to a particular hotel brand in future.

As a general rule, towels should be washed every three uses. You need to change towels frequently because of the rate we humans shed skin cells. Imagine the build-up. Ewww… Of course, you’ll be giving your guests clean towels when they arrive. If they are staying for a while, ask them how often they would like fresh towels.
Wash hand and face towels more often. They will be getting more use. At the minimum, they should be replaced every other day.
Wash them at a high temperature (140 degrees), using a biological powder that contains bleach. You can use fabric softener but don’t use it every time as this will reduce the absorbency of towels.
Dry them in a tumble drier for softest, fluffiest results. If you can put them outside to dry, they will be nice and fresh. That’s the more environmentally friendly option too.
Wash the same colours together. You want your white towels to remain pristine!
Add one cup of distilled white vinegar to your towel laundry once a month as this will improve absorbency and get rid of any mustiness.
